ABout the evening
Beers & Braids is a relaxed, hands-on evening for dads and dad figures to learn a few simple hair skills in a fun, supportive environment.
During the evening, you’ll learn practical styles like a basic ponytail, ponytail braid, and French braid.
You’ll practice on mannequin heads, get support as you learn, and connect with other dads and father figures over snacks, drinks, and conversation.

It's a national chapter program run by Dads for All — an organization that brings fathers together to build real community and take positive local action.
"Do I need to know how to braid already?"
No. This is beginner-friendly. Just bring your sense of humor, a little patience, and a willingness to try.
"Who is this event for?"
Dads and dad figures — including stepdads, grandpas, uncles, bonus dads, foster dads, mentors, and other father figures.
"Can I attend if I don’t drink?"
Yes. Drinking is optional, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
